ACCESSIBILITY

Making These Sites Usable by Everyone

What we aim for, what we have built in, what we know still falls short, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

01Our Commitment

Mega Commercial Enterprises Limited wants its websites to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across this site and our brand sites. We are not claiming perfection — we are telling you what we aim for and how to tell us when we fall short.

02What We Have Done

  • Colour contrast — text is checked against its background to meet AA contrast ratios.
  • Keyboard navigation — every link, button and menu can be reached and operated without a mouse, with a visible focus outline.
  • Semantic structure — proper headings in order, landmarks, and labelled navigation so screen readers can move through pages sensibly.
  • Meaningful alternatives — images that carry meaning have alt text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Reduced motion — animations are disabled automatically if your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Responsive text — pages reflow and remain readable when zoomed or on small screens.

03Known Limitations

Being honest is more useful than claiming full compliance:

  • Some third-party content we embed is outside our direct control, and its accessibility depends on the provider.
  • Older documents published before this statement may not meet the same standard.
  • We have tested with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, but not with every assistive technology in every combination.

Where we know something falls short, we would rather fix it than describe it. Reports genuinely help.

04Legal Position

The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. It sets accessibility requirements for certain digital products and services, with a threshold that generally exempts microenterprises — organisations with fewer than 10 staff and turnover or balance sheet under €2 million.

We publish this statement as good practice rather than because we are asserting a particular classification. Our aim is that the standard is met regardless of whether we are obliged to meet it.

05Tell Us About a Barrier

If you cannot use part of this site, or any of our brand sites, please tell us. Say what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing that.

Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within five working days and to tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it.

If you need information from this site in another format, ask and we will provide it.

Something Blocking You?

Tell us what you were trying to do and where. We will fix what we can and be honest about what we cannot.
