How We Handle Your Personal Data

We are the data controller for this website and for every brand website in our group. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

01Who We Are

Mega Commercial Enterprises Limited ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in Ireland under company number 726999, with its registered office at 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin, D02 XE80, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

We build and operate a portfolio of independent digital brands. Every one of them is owned and operated by this company rather than by a separate legal entity, which means we are the controller for every brand website in the group: mcel.ai · Quantum Jetset · eTaxNexus · Financial Finest · iHemera · GolfConnecting · Stylish Jetset.

This policy covers this website

megacommercialenterprises.com is our corporate site. It sells nothing and has no client accounts. Each brand website publishes its own privacy notice covering the specific services it provides, the data those services need, and the retention periods that apply to them. If you are a customer of one of our brands, read that brand's notice as well as this one.

02What We Collect on This Website

Information you give us

If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your contact details, and the content of your message. We do not operate a contact form, a login, a newsletter or a shop on this website, so there is no account data and no payment data.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider and our CDN (Cloudflare) process technical data required to deliver the site securely: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and timestamps. This happens for every website on the internet and is necessary for the site to function and to resist attacks.

If — and only if — you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects aggregated usage data. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, the Google script is never loaded at all.

What we do not collect

  • We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media trackers on this site.
  • We do not buy personal data, and we never sell, rent or trade yours.
  • We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions that produce legal effects.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

03Why We Use It, and Our Legal Basis

Under the GDPR we must have a lawful basis for every use of your data. Ours are:

Purpose
Legal basis
Notes
Replying to your enquiry
Legitimate interests
You contacted us and expect a reply. Where your enquiry may lead to a contract, the basis is steps prior to entering a contract.
Routing you to the right brand
Legitimate interests
So a specialist answers rather than the parent company answering badly.
Keeping the site running and secure
Legitimate interests
Hosting, CDN, spam and abuse prevention.
Analytics
Consent
Only after you accept analytics cookies. Withdraw any time via Cookie Settings.
Meeting legal obligations
Legal obligation
Company, tax and accounting records where applicable.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether our interest is overridden by your rights and concluded it is not, because the processing is limited, expected, and low-risk. You may object at any time — see section 6.

04Who We Share It With

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our instructions, and only as far as they need it. We do not sell or trade personal data under any circumstances.

  • Hosting and infrastructure — our web host and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site.
  • Email — our email provider, which carries correspondence you send us.
  • Analytics — Google, only where you have consented.
  • Professional advisers — accountants or solicitors, where we are obliged or genuinely need to.
  • Within the group — if your enquiry belongs with one of our brands, we pass it to the team handling that brand. It stays inside the same legal entity.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, principally in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

05How Long We Keep It

Data
Retention
Why

When a period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

06Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Erasure — have data deleted, where no overriding reason to keep it applies.
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
  • Portability — receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including at any time.
  • Withdraw consent — for anything based on consent, without affecting what came before.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 — dataprotection.ie. You may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

07Artificial Intelligence and Your Data

Our group builds and uses AI systems, so we are explicit about what that means for personal data.

  • This website runs no AI on visitors. There is no chatbot, no assistant and no automated profiling here.
  • We do not train AI models on your personal data, and we do not permit our providers to train their models on it.
  • Where a brand uses AI in a service — for example an mcel.ai receptionist handling a call — that system tells you it is AI, and the brand's own privacy notice explains what it processes and for how long.
  • A human is accountable for every decision that affects you. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Our AI Transparency Statement sets out where AI is used across the group in more detail.

08Security, Other Sites, and Changes

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our systems is restricted, protected by strong authentication, and reviewed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and would notify you and the Data Protection Commission of a qualifying breach without undue delay.

Other websites

Our brand sites and any third-party sites we link to have their own privacy notices. This policy does not cover them. We are the controller for our own brand sites; we are not responsible for external ones.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights we will make that clear rather than quietly amending the text.

Questions About Your Data?

Ask us anything about this policy, or make a data request. A person reads every message and replies, usually within one business day and always within one month.
